SEA Windfarm: explore the Lucera windfarm and play with the energy of the wind. The features of the app are the following: THE LUCERA WINDFARM Discover the windfarm project developed by SEA in Lucera (FG). WIND ENERGY Learn the main characteristics of the production process of wind energy and discover how a wind turbine works. EXPLORE THE LUCERA WINDFARM Explore with a simple swipe a representation of the windfarm and enlarge the details of the scenario with a pinch-to-zoom. View the wind speed data from the Lucera site and the instantaneous power of the park. THE WIND TURBINES Tap on the park's wind turbines to find out the values of instantaneous power, speed and wind direction relative to the individual turbines (in 'real time' mode in the next release). THE EDUCATIONAL GAME Play with the wind! Try to come as close as possible to the amount of energy produced by the Lucera windfarm in one day. Spin the blades of the wind turbine with your finger, but keep an eye on the wind speed: if you exceed the cut-out threshold, the rotor will stop producing, making you lose precious seconds.
